Tank filler detail for 1950 AD whats it look like ??

I have fettled up a replacemet tank for me AD but some photos of the filler neck and cap /vent would help me make a replica filler ...if someone could take some photos cap on and off I would be very appreciative ..
free holidy in Noosa etc etc .....

So 45 + people have had a look and nobody can be bothered to take me a few photos ....so if I put one on off a mower (joke ) you will all be unhappy......
Hope nobody asks me to make them something on the lathe to help them out .....
Memories of the Humber Register...no its not on the road been looking for a dumb iron for 20 years ....er like me to make one for you?? oh no will keep looking ...must be genuine .....

Have been to Noosa, very nice place and would love to have another holiday there.
Slight problem, dont have the tank that you want pictures of sorry.
Has anyone used a seagull on the elevated freshwater lake on Fraser Island, or would that upset the tree huggers, would make a nice photo though.
We had snow here yesterday, hope you are enjoying your summer.

Well actually today I fished out of my workshop a cast alloy filler cap, and was intending to photograph it tomorrow together with a fuel tank filler. But events got in the way.
Sounds like you're sorted, so that's OK

come back from me cruise ...the two stroke diesel broke down and we missed on stop ....dont think a seagul is enough for 50,000 tons !!!
