A bit of an update!
Showing how the mixer body is hacked and drilled!

fitting the inner copper tube

Checking the fit



Making sure the cowl still fits!



Ended up casting a chock cup... Bit tricky at only 1mm thick!




All the parts!

Polished up the chock cup and made a advance / retard leaver

And while I was in the making mood I cast a new prop nut

Still need to polish up the leg a little more!
Takes a few pulls of the starter rope to get the fuel up the fuel pipe but once it is there she runs like a champ!

I could only run her for a minute or two because she would not pump water very well with the prop on!
(Sorry about the quality of the video, I only have my cell phone to record with)

I do have the black instruction plate but I dont want to put it back on until the rest of the engine has been cleaned up.

If they were still giving The Queens award for Industry, I think that piece of work would merit one, Chris.

Bit of a shame that the piston is cracked on you one. yes if it where me I would I would use an old red to rebuild the black.

That Anzani is a Very Lucky Outboard. I doubt anybody else would have the skills , or put in the amount of time and effort, that you have done. Another Vintage Outboard saved from a box of parts.
I am looking forward to seeing what your next project will be.

The first thing I need to do is measure all of the parts of an engine and come up with a few simple drawings and sizes.
When I do make a start and have some patterns I will cast a few at a time (and put it into a new thread)
