Saving Old Seagulls

Now finished Runs well. The pleasing thing about this one is that it needed so few new parts. Throttle cable, HT lead and cap, tilt latch for the transom bracket, plus a few new stainless fasteners and a new decal. Magneto just needed a general clean up, which makes a change, and saved the cost of new coil.

Elbow grease comes for free The tank took a long time, due to the corrosion pitting that needs dressing out. Good thing about these steel tanks is they are less prone to denting though.

Just need to fish out a bakelite spark plug cap at some point.

Lets see some more restorations on here!

Very nicely done, great job.
I would love to have an early 102, I think they are one of the best looking motors of all the seagulls, except the Marston's of course, but Its getting hard to get a genuine unrestored one, still looking though.

SD 's just seem to look right. Well done again
