The lettered cover came along during the production run, but earlier ones were blank. I think Jeremy has this change point tracked down fairly close. The stuff he has on the main SOS site might well tell you.

From the data that I have collected, the flywheel cover almost certainly was being fitted with 'in the world' by serial number 15000. It might have started by S/No 14000 or possibly by S/No 13000. Evidence suggests that all engines prior to approx 13000 would have had plain covers.
That means that all FVPs would have had plain covers.

I am shortly going to reissue my updated sheets. There are 11 pages of indispensable (I think so!) information. Is it possible that if I convert them to pdf form, that i can load them onto a post?

Jeremy

No you can't post PDF's on the forum. Make it a JPG

I've found one of the quickest ways of converting a word page is to take a screenshot, then crop the resultant photo. Only downside is you have to do it a page at a time.

I have PDF software that makes PDF's from what ever format or splits PDF's into original pages, pretty basic stuff.

Or you could just add a link to down load it, Its simple if you own a website or four.
Not that it matters to me either way, but I think the quality of any text in a Jpg picture format is pretty much unreadable, plus it will always be stuck in that low quality format, as it will be in picture format, not a text format.
