My acidic solution while it reacts, I see bubbles and greasy stuff coming out of the free water inlet. Maybe the crud has some oil/grease trapped inside?

Oh, crud is also yellow and hard.
I love the 10600/145 turns!!!

BRUCE

as you said earlier, the "older" blocks with the brass core plugs really do look COOL.
brass against black, yep, nice.
something different rather than just a pressed in disc of metal!
for your visual pleasure

fyi hex head plugs very early 46/50
slotted head plug 50/55 (jan the dutchman knows more about this than me)
