I ran my brass ' steam punked" motor on this trip too . the prop still needs some work , but it ran sweetly and probably has the lowest reving idle of any seagull out there , One day I'll get tinker to measure it with his fancy meter thingi
posted a few other pics of Arapuni on our Kiwi forum if you are interested http://seagulloutboard.boards.net/index.cgi

Love it. The dog is sitting all cramped up on a wooden plank, the Seagull is resting on a fluffy rug...

CharlesP there is carpet in the forpeak to stop Chilli dog sliding round , I lent that motor to one of the other guys for the run home so Poncho had more room .
Charlie don't you know ? You use horse meat to catch sharks ! lol

...horse meat to catch sharks...

Not over here in the UK they don't. Apparently they use it to feed the poor people. And hospital patients. And schoolchildren.

My own dear wife wouldn't serve it up here in Charlesp Towers, of course. At least I don't think so.

I think she's hoping some of the stallion's DNA might help you over the hurdles.

P.s. it didn't work for me.

Foot and mouth in my case.

Joking apart, this 'horsemeat in beef products' scandal is great fun. I'm only surprised that there's anything that could be legally called 'meat' in an awful lot of these 'budget' mince products.

Did you know that 'Hamburgers' is an anagram of 'Shergar's bum'?
