If the motor is mounted to the left of centerline, (portside) with the tiller on the left of the motor, why not sit to the right (starboard side) so you can sit facing forward, and your left hand is on the tiller ?

Dodgy left wrist Which is a bit of a bitch,seeing as I'm a citách.
I should mount it starboard of center,but automatically put it left
