The problem with buying a spare motor to use for parts "make one motor out of two" is that eventually you will succumb to the temptation of getting both motors running well hence the need for another spare motor for parts and therefore a chain reaction starts :shock:

I fell into this trap when I was given a several "Knacked" motors a few years ago and I put up a local wanted Ad for "seagull outboard parts" to get them running, blimey, that is when I realised that nobody wanted these motors and were looking for a cheap and easy way to get rid of them.

You have been warned, Seagulls like to flock :roll:

funny that?

i started off with a silver century plus to use for the odd fishing trip at my local reservoir, and now i've got 15 of the bloody things! all ages all sizes.
