No, not much, not that you can get to much anyway, just had a poke about and 'osed it out.

Had the gearbox apart and its all good, except the oil of course.

An update on progress, Drive tube back from platers, (not impressed) will try someone else next time.
Fuel tank to do, lead filled and primed already, just paint and decal to do, and some other odds and ends.

That's looking very nice :) you can't beat a cleaned up SD quite possibly the best seagull to own?

I got it finished, its not perfect, but it will do, I will need to make another fuel pipe for it and them tank straps are still not right.
I will give it a run soon.

That looks terrible Keith, it now looks like a 70 year old Seagull, to save you any stress send me your address & I'll take it off your hands for a fiver, or you could give it to me for xmas instead of a card.

Thanks all, I will run it next week, if it runs, fingers crossed.
This is a picture of the cylinder, I noticed this when I was putting the motor together some time ago and forgot about it as usual, should it have the extra cast lump at the top of the cylinder?

What a feeling, aye? When I heard mine running for the first time it was like I was taking part in the Normandy invasion.

Very very well done!!

I Tips My Lid!

Very smartly finished. Ignore Charles as usual and if you are not chuffed as you should be................THINK OF ME

Mine finished maybe this year but definitely NOT this summer. Too hot to move outside let alone in a tin shed aye.

I have a standard to adhere to with this Mate.

The casting lump on the thing looks like the fettle lady/man may have missed it though a funny place for a something to be knocked off. Maybe a secret casting, slipped in to general shipment.

Thermostat housing...................no doubt about it!
