I have found my vintage chanter Tam...present from the Sargent in Arms West Australian Police Band member about 1970...I was 10.
Dad was involved back then as OIC.
It is well chewed and has plastic reeds that I made back then.
I was pretty well spot on in actually playing it and how can anyone forget how?
I will dress the timbers, seal cottons and make proper vibrates...lovely bit of old kit aye.
