fitting a wipac marc 3 coil
I have a new coil and trigger on order. When they arrive I intend to put them into my silver century 102. Is there anything I need to know or is it a simple switch over. Thanks in advance.

What's the engine number of your silver century, & are you just replacing a faulty CDI?
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Sorry I just checked it is a forty plus, not a 120. It is one of the barge pusher types.

Sorry again, that is the wrong number. The right one is ESPCL1818AA0. I must be getting doddery in my old age. Looked at the wrong page in the notebook.

Re: fitting a wipac marc 3 coil
The reason I am asking what seems to be a silly question is because I have heard people mention sealing the coil after fitting. Any ideas on how to do this would be great, thanks.
Re: fitting a wipac marc 3 coil
Hello Kevin
As far as I am aware the only sealing is on the HT lead as it comes out of the coil. This needs to be sealed with silicone once fitted.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
John
