And I should have added that you can’t test an iridium plug for continuity as you can a copper cored ab6 or d16, because the core from top to bottom, through the ceramic sheathing, is not continuous - apparently , so said the Ngk guy in technical advice, it has minute gaps in it, which are so tiny that the voltage crosses these with no difficulty, but a continuity test will not work
