UK roller-bearing forty gearbox
I'm after a sealed-type gearbox that I can swap in for my bronze bearing type. In the UK is best I think.

Re: UK roller-bearing forty gearbox
All Seagull lower units except for the 5 & 5R had bronze bearings, no Seagull manufactured lower units contained roller-bearings.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Thanks for the clarification! Maybe a mod could delete this post then.
Ah sorry, just realised where I got confused. So the FNR and clutch-having seagulls would have (/maybe) had lip seals fitted? I was wondering if I could retrofit a gearbox housing that has a lip seal, to avoid bleeding gearbox oil.
