hi found ngk ab6 spark plugs on ebay for £1.50 & you only pay £1.50 p&p plus any extra ones you buy p&p is free, i got 2 inc p&p for £4.30 link

I think that you will find that the AB6 is going to be a far too cold a plug. It replaced the now discontinued A6 which was only needed for a cold plug application now and again. (Constant high rev operation)

The NGK version "similar" not exactly the same, for a D16 is AB2 which is hotter. (General operating use)

The spark plug can help maintain the optimum combustion chamber temperature. The primary method used to do this is by altering the internal length of the core nose, in addition, the alloy compositions in the electrodes can be changed. This means you may not be able to visually tell a difference between heat ranges. When a spark plug is referred to as a “cold plugâ€

I contacted the seller who was at first keen to sell, but it transpires they have a slightly longer reach as well, which might be a problem on some Seagulls.

He never came back when I asked how many he had....Hmmmmm
