Something to play with for summer
Something for spring and summer, to play with. 10 x 5 x 2 got a casting deck, floor is comfortable to sit on.
My build a Bimini for it, But wanted something to stick in the water and bugger off when i needed some on my own time.
Plans with a 4hp Yamaha, and will kill you with a 8hp. and putts along quite nicely with a 102.

Good spotting HA,
its sort of based in the Tropic 12, but in 10 foot a size Mark Bowdidge don't make.
10 foot by 5 foot and quite stable. its built quite simply, and is car top able, but only on the beast.
A Large Ford wagon. But it fits in the tray of the truck.

Use to enjoy Marks forum until my access was halted without reason or explanation.
Still view some of the build threads but can't / don't post there anymore.

Well its summer in Queensland, OK its always summer in Queensland except for a few months in winter but that's beside the point.
Took the toy boat out today, with the 90 on the back, wow talk about power, but we wont discuss the speed, or lack off.
It ran perfectly, like a seagull should. and it took me forever to get it packed up because every one there asked about it, some even took pictures and a bloke offered to buy it and the boat, abut that's what happens when you take a seagull somewhere it the same as taking a classic car.
Couple of pic's I was thinking how lucky i was as i puttered along so to all our English brother in seagulldom my it dry out very soon and you get some time for your selves to spend a quite putter on your own favories water way and be good with the world.
Enjoy seagulling.

Re: Something to play with for summer
Wife and i were reading the "whats you oldest seagull" and she said well you cant play there can you, I just smiled, i don't even make to the 50's motor wise.
so we took the boat out instead, with the new seagull EFNR.
I'm shore their will be wonderful pictures of motors we will never see in OZ, so that will be some consolation, and she was making food so that's good.
The boss with her trusty oxygen bottle in the white plastic bucket, and esky on the shore almost empty, admiring the beautiful clear water of our local river. She was still cackling, about the bloke who followed use to the boat ramp on his new triumph and asked us if that was a seagull on the back of the boat, because he had one in the back of his garage he just wouldn't through away. sounds like I'm getting a wsc in a few weeks with no gearbox.
There is a 102 2:1 gearbox in the shed. time for a bitsa, maybe.
Just another day in the pleasant land of seagull.

Its come a long way since I looked at it in Tassi!!! great job; should be a really reliable engine and a good match for the boat.
