Purchase price ?
I have a 1974 Forty +. What was th purchase price when new? What would be an equivalent cost in today's money?
Re: Purchase price ?
I don't have a 1974 price list but I do have several later ones, one note is that price increase is quite dramatic over just a few years maybe aiding British Seagull's demise.

Re: Purchase price ?
These prices sit across a period of very high inflation with interest rates at all time high so I suspect the price increases across the range are keeping in step.

Re: Purchase price ?
Your right but with the national average income in 1980 of £5725.00 PA, £110.10 PW, a model 75 costs less than 2 weeks wages.
That's way way cheaper than 1950!

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
