Some parts wanted

Post by Stelios_Rjk »

Some parts came to my possession and some parts are missing to complete a CP.

I have the gearbox and a good cylinder but I am missing a crankcase from a CP. I have a good one WSC, the piston turns free in the cylinder but it wouldn't be nice to have a CP with a different WSC crankcase. I can also do a swap if someone is interested.

I will also need some more parts but I think this is the most important for now.

Thank you for your time

In addition I have just realized that I am missing the washers between the wing nut and the tiller arm on the SD

There are some SD washers on ebay at the moment. Have you tried SOS?

5 the initial bid and 5 for postage.. 10 pounds for two washers as I have the wing nut starts getting anoying so I will see what I will do.

Now I am looking for a water pump housing for a clutched silver century gearbox with a 48:12 gears.

I'm pretty sure I have one - just hunted through loads of stuff. I am doing up a wspcl right now - which has the large crownwheel so can compare the two. Let me know if you are stuck.

Thank you very much for your response. One pump housing of this kind is on the way to me right now. I believe it will fit, but I will let you know in any case. If remember well the length of the gasket used in those gearboxes is 6.5".

That ok Stelios - glad you are sorted. I think the 'plus' 48 crownwheel model had thicker driveshaft tube at the lug. They step down in size just before the top bracket - maybe to do with the larger gearbox size hanging off it !
