Ultimate non-Seagull...

Post by david1230 »

I know, I know...it's far from topic even as a non-Seagull motor...but believe it or not I've used it twice when my main motor stopped due to a fuel blockage.
Made from an ABS tube, some wood, a galvanized shaft and an old 90 degree drill adapter. I just tighten my Ridgid battery operated drill on the top shaft and away we go at any speed or direction (in Gull lingo that means FNR  )
An old Mercury 7.5hp prop pushes the thing with surprising thrust.
Sold it to a Russian guy 2 months ago who wanted it on his excentric mini-sailboat!
Cheers!
