This is a question of little consequence, but perhaps somewhat interesting none the less.
When I bought my engine (used), it came with a “Gullâ€

I've never heard of a 'Gull' plug - maybe Seagull bought enough plugs to have them own branded?
I guess today we all use D 16's, NGK A6's or whatever will fill the hole.
I imagine all 18mm plugs available today are all 'soft' types which suit Seagulls very well - I also have some 18mm Bosch plugs, but can't remember the code on them offhand. There are also Champion UK 10 plugs, and some of my old ladies have the 8 COM detachable plugs in them.
Most plugs I come across tend to have external corrosion or damage - the business ends are usually in good condition - presumably due to low hours or lack of stress compared to a car engine. Rick.
