Seagull-Villiers carburettor

Post by Cheshire Cat 4 »

Can anybody tell me the thread type and sizes on the Seagull-Villiers carburettor
I think the fuel banjo thread is 1/8"BSP, but no idea what the other two male threads are
i.e air inlet & top screw ring on throttle barrel

I agree the banjo bolt appears to be 1/8" BSP

I dont know what the other two are. Not any of the standard threads in any of my thread tables that's for sure.
You will have to measure the diameter and pitch/tpi

Many thanks for your reply I will measure pitch and diameter over the weekend.
I would realy like to clean the threads up as I have 8 decent carb bodies that
are realy to good to scrap
