I think you'll find there is a 12 volt DC motor between the 2 fan blades.

A few years ago one of our members was going to send me something like this to try out, to be any use it will need to pump 700 to 800 litres of air a minute & need less power than a a Seagull alternator can provide, & give an overall power increase.

If they could do all that they might cost a little more than $20.

If you've got a CDI Seagull Chicken, with a flywheel cover, I will try to arrange for a Seagull alternator to appear in Cambridge so you can do the testing.

Tinker.
Engine buildings going good got a few engines which i have stripped and in the procces of building back up,
As for the boat have got a few ideas and sets of plans ,without giving away all details about 10-12 foot long just under 4 foot wide,
there very well might be a light weight,close replica of Ross L's boat next year...

ill let you know when i have a CDI seagull.
