trying to get a spark from my 40+, cleaned contacts, new spark plug, gaps set o.k. HTlead ok, Tried running engine with drill to see if magneto was dodgey (as per FAQ page)Absolutely no spark! HELP!!http://www.saving-old-seagulls.co.uk/fo ... 3c76bead7c#

I did all that and i have no spark either, ended up testing the Coil and its a dud.

if it isn't the coil try taking the plug lead out of the magneto and spraying in the hole with wd40 or whatever as I have found this to work sometimes
