Hello.
As head soup maker in a very large restaurant I normally use a seagull 40 to stir 45 gallon drums of vegetable soup.
Just recently some of the diners have been complaining of "an oily taste" in the soup.
I cant see any problem myself as the croutons normally soak up most of the oil.
However I have changed from a 10/1 mix of petrol: lard,to a mix of 10/1
spry crisp n dry:petrol.
Do you think this new mix will cause more rapid bore and bearing wear?

proceed with caution. You should only use this mixture if you are getting a nice fat spark but you may also get chips in the gears.

Many thanks for cooking up this advice.
Have got a very fat spark,
but had it tested at boots and its very low cholesterol.
As for the gear chips you where bang on as I did notice a few leeks.
