Recently I was carrying out some research at the British Library. It was for a book I am co-authoring on a Victorian gunmaker.
I was looking through the 1932 April issue of 'Game and Gun' magazine. They had a sailing section somewhat surprisingly. And there was a test on a 'good British outboard motor', by John Marston Ltd of Wolverhampton. It was called a 'Seagull'. I thought you might like it, as well as the advert on the next page. You will note that the model has been seen before on these pages (I recognised the jumper), though I am not sure this image is in the archives.
