Does anyone know how long the LS style transom clamp was used?
I have a F189A8 Featherweight 1968, that came with that style clamp. Casting somewhat thinner than the regular 40+ one, as well as having a more or less flat top surface above the transom arch, and the retaining rod clip being on the port side.
Any comments on whether this is likely to have come on the motor when it was new?
