I have one or two bits for one of those... flywheel, magneto and base, gearbox (no prop) drive shaft
I will dig it out and have a look / take some pics of it.
You pay the shipping and the bits are yours

Hi , thanks for your kind offer , Shipping from New Zealand to Orkney could be pricey !
I know there is an ongoing discussion about Anzani engine numbers .This is an earlier model and I have another early one plus 2 later ones . The early ones are ss6037L and ss5103L , the newer ones ss44012 and ss45372 . Could anyone add to this and make any sense of it ?

I will have to dig out my bits and have a look. Where is the number stamped ( I haven't looked so I have no clue) and there is not enough bits to make an engine or even start looking for the rest of it.
Like the rest of us I will keep them here just in case some one needs a bit.

I will get a pic of serial numbers tomorrow . Shame to dump bits as you say . I know the Super Single isn't the most desirable Anzani but it was my first motor 30 years ago 8)

Hard to see in that photo but that style of dinghy has deep bilge and keel but to be honest I don't recall if it was too long . When I came to purchase a motor there was a choice of 2 , the Anzani or a Seagull , possibly a century , the lower price of the Anzani sealed the deal , I was only 14 and lobster fishing after school financed the purchase
