Not a lot of help, but all i can remember is a limited production Italian exotic, form the late 80's or early 90's saw one in a model shop in Melbourne.
Sitting on a shelf with an OS Gemini and a Pegasus, and a Twin Taplin marine diesel.
IF Peter Chinn was alive he would, know so give Brian Winch an email at airborne magazine i'm shore he would know.

Sorry can't be more help, gave up model planes, around 2000.

I'm sure your ability to search Google is just as good as mine, but just on the off chance that you missed the Italian Text Italia - Prodotto in piccola serie negli anni Novanta da Albertini. Doppio albero a camme in testa azionato da cinghie dentate. Accensione Glow. Located here; http://digilander.libero.it/micromotori ... to_10.html

This text translates to;

Italy - Made in small series in the nineties by Albertini. Double overhead camshaft driven by toothed belts. Ignition Glow.

Lines up reasonably well with the advice given above.

Not to much else easily found on the net though.

Thanks S

I saw that as well. I am just working it out as one would....

The original belts will have to be replaced before I run it on a mount/display something stand. A prop, fuel tank, lines, throttle servo, linkage and a secondhand remote for the servo........in progress.

Two belts to get are 267-3m-9 and 312-3m-9. Common so not a prob.

The timing is easy. See the pics. Timing marks aligned with cam located via a pin through to a drill hole in the head underneath the rocker gear....easy.

I will upload the pics soon as I am still having HTTP errors for every selected image.........

PS: I know I know...........Sprite soon. Got carried away with leaving on my holiday and new RAKALI number plate had to be picked up from licensing.

Nice engine, make me miss the the big OS twin FT-160 and the 8 foot telemaster,
In the end the eyes were so bad that was the only thing i could see in the air.
