Wanted early Evinrude rowboat motor

Post by Horsley-Anarak »

I am looking for an early Evinrude rowboat motor.
Idealy pre magneto, so 1912-1913.

Missed out on one on the Bay lastweek, so a bit gutted.

So if you know of one please P.M.me.

Thanks

You may want to check out if folks might have parts as well, someone from the U.K. sent me a 1913 Evinrude prop. A few years back on the chance it could be used on my Caille RBM, sadly it didn't fit. I understood at the time that he had a few other parts from it as well. Would not hurt trying webvertize on the other site as well, someone watching from the U.K. May have something. The 3 rd edition of "The Old Outboard Book" has a U.K. Section as you probably know, the U.K. contributors are mentioned there, they may also have some good leads, but perhaps you know them already.
Good idea to try to find a non-magneto one, I run mine using a model T Ford buzz coil, you can get them here for about $25-$40. A lot simpler than dealing with a ancient, cranky, magneto.
