Sailmaster Evinrude/Johnson 15 hp Outboard

Anyone know anything about the Sailmaster Evinrude/Johnson 15 hp motor? Or that family.
Are these a high thrust motor? IE high ratio gearbox like the Plus engines or are they simply long shafts with large low pitch propellers?
Being two stroke they are about half the weight of a modern four stroke high thrust engine. And there for old man carryable.
Some even had electric start.
