It's a shame there's so much missing, not as hot as the Sharland that sold on the bay last week!

It was a Sharland early 30's 347cc racer designed & built by the same guy who designed & built the Dunelt, one of only about 80 built.

Same as the ones the King owned.

I didn't see it finish.

I doubt if it went for a fortune, too specialised, no spares & very complicated.

Out of my range I couldn't carry it.

I did some searches with the word "Sharland" on the ended listings on the bay (UK and international) but I can't locate it. Maybe the guy was just saying "antique outboard" or something similar. Anyway.. we got an idea of this model, pretty nice!

Maybe it's time for a Riley now :mrgreen:
