Old Advertising

Came across a January 1952 Outdoor and Fishing Mag with some interesting ads featuring
Seasprite, Seamaster, Speed ?, Verity, Vinco and Seagull outboards.

Did a cut and paste to fit on 1 page

That's a quite interesting line drawing. Flexible fuel line. Right angle thumbscrew (missing washer ha ha). Straight out exhaust with raked prop.

£90, I wonder what that compared to at the time? In 1984 my first pay packet as a time served turner I took home £99.

VERY NICE motors in every respect!

Actually, this is my all time fav motor.......................so original? It hurts! It is the very first model. The advert pic is of a later near last one.

Here is 1949 advert which shows an upgraded cowl over sparkplug.

The Seamaster (Air Cooled) supposed to be the first Australian outboard. Hunn last edition. Which is incorrect.

I have to sort yet as I have a really nice one somewhere...............Advert to follow.

Speed? Really interesting thing, once again Hunn noted as being one of the first Australian outboards..........incorrect.

I have two, yet to surface after "The Move" pics later.
