Saving Old Seagulls

Stationary engine is right… in my humble experience all stationary engines were meant to drive something ??

at least my emergency tools are edible ...unfortunately the teapot variant was less than successful

Now this got me to wondering ... I guess that the VAST VAST majority of 'Gulls never got/get very much 'water time' use at all hardly ever in winter...never at night...and just short sharp little runs, mostly weekends, tendering to & fro for a few minutes, then chuck them back into the dark ding...

well gentlemen ....and you other seagull owner types ... has anyone dipped into the merits or otherwise of vapour blasting to bring 'gull bits up all shiny and lovely ? or not worth the candle ? i have an older BMW motorbike and had some VB done ...WOW ..the results were stunning :shock: interested ...
