I was under the asumpion that 2 days of running and then change the gear case oil. Because of all the locks in the upper parts of the Murray, The section they are in is i bit shallow and suffering from drought. +1 Take the prop of and try it out. As Stelios said. Do not over rev the motor to the moon. The best and only way to do it is to take it out on the water on a boat.

Mix enough caustic soda with water until it goes hot. You should have steam comming from the bucket. Mix it well and dip the tank and soak overnight. Thanks for the replys everyone. I wont get one again that's for sure. Everyone handles things differently, and the whole thing was a shock to my system. In Australia there has been a bad strain of flu this year and some of our top doctors think that things are mutating.
