Here's an interesting JAP powered Cruisemate the anglers friend.

Re: I think its German
I forgot to mention it also has an external Bing fuel pump, and on the steering arm that covered the end of the pipe is a plug which has
a Magura logo. This turns out to be a manufacturer of excelerater cables and controllers.

I think its German
I have been given this outboard for the price of 6 Cuppacinos from an old gentleman who said he got it from his neighbour who bought it back from overseas. The old gentleman thought it was a Japanese outboard, but on close inspection I found it had Bosch spark plugs, a bing carby which are fitted to...

I will check that out soon. Standby, I have another mystery outboard which I think is German, but I have to take some sn...

Trash and treasure buy
Purchased at T & T but make unknown. Air cooled and has no serial numbers stamped on motor. The ignition is Mallory mounted on the crankcase so it has no flywheel, only a rope pulley. This motor is very heavy and the steering arm cam be pushed back for storage/handling.I have perused The Old Out...

Hi guys,
Fantastic site for outboard motor tinkerers. I have 3 Seagulls plus various other brands, 2 of which have not yet been identified,
will send some photos soon for some help.
