Dodgy numbers
I have a FVP which is stamped EVR. If you are a bit creative and remove a couple of strokes the number is right.
I think they must have stamped those on a Friday arvo after lunch at the boozer then come Monday they shoved them in the box heading to Oz hoping the boss would not see them.

Bakelite HT cap for a FVP
Hi, I have a new rubber one but I just can't bring myself to cut the lug off to fit it. Can anyone sell me an old Bakelite cap at a reasonable price?

I have just come accross this thread.
I bought the second motor, it is an FVP it is stamped EVR 1144 7 but is in fact FVP 1144 T, it must have been a very boozy Friday.
All the screws came out of the leg ok (did not open up the gearbox) and I have just got the power head apart. It had a broken fuel ...
