Does anyone have experience of renewing the ignition lead on a Featherweight 45 with electronic flywheel assembly?
Everything I read puts me off doing this essential job but maybe it is not as bad as it is told?

Featherweight overheating when every cure has been tried.
I am a new owner of an elderly Featherweight 45. On a dustbin test, this engine had no water circulation at all, only steam came out of the outlet hole in the block and ominous noises like a steam iron. :(
