hey bnc, mate if i wanted easy i wouldn't have bought a seagull :lol: i made one which cost me the the cost of the wheels and axle the rest of the stuff, i had here. i'd post a pic if i knew how to do it

g'day again, we fish in shallower water here in the bay too, under 10m i prefer not to use a sinker if the run is not too crazy.
you have to go out pretty wide to get more than 30m, that's where the big reds are. regards peter

geez Spiro, you'd get hung in Qld for having that many rods out, 3 max each with 2 hooks max per person, and with the tidal run we get here you'd end up with a big tangled mess.

the black ones have been around for donkey's years, i've had them before and had no probs but this generation is crap ...

g'day, i bought a pair of those cheap rod holders only they didn't turn out to be that cheap, the first time i used them i lost a brand new expensive rod and reel over the side, i had baited it up and let it out and put it in the holder while i rigged up another line, i heard a noise and looked up ...

g'day guys, i did the wd40 thing and left a couple of hours and it was still very solid but i gently but firmly wriggled and pulled and it came out and it was ok so i did the boiling trick and it was too big to go back in so i oiled and greased it and left it a while and got it back in and works ...

g'day again, another small prob i've read John's faqs regarding this, and boiling it up, but i can't get the plunger out and i don't want to force it and wreck the cork.

g'day gang, peter here from hervey bay in qld

i'm a new chum as far as seagulls go although i bought a new one back in the 80s and i've had boats most of my life.

i recently bought a seagull espc 179 ff0 and i'm in the process of doing her up

i want to make a trolley to put the motor on to work ...
