Saving Old Seagulls

Has anyone got any 7 to 7 1/2 inch prop or a larger size prop which I could customise?

I want to put the biggest prop possible on a featherweight gearbox.

I need to replace the sq box section drive shaft.

Any idea's of where I might get this from?

I'm reckoning its 14mm outer, 10mm inner, 2 mm wall

Well I managed to get three out. Two from gearbox and one from waterpump housing..The final water pump housing screw in the countersunk one. The slot has started to get messy looking now....oppps

What my options? Drill it out? Any other ideas?

Whats the best way of removing the flat head screws/bolts on a gearbox and water pump housing?

How hard is it to adapt a sporty looking japanese prop onto a seagull?

I wont be able to fit the 11in weedless on the featherweight gearbox, due to the waterpump housing being in the way.

Details of hydro including weight - 8ft by 4ft planning hull with two skid rails, transom at a 15 degree angle. weight approx 50 kgs

do featherweights come with a clutch?

or do you hav to adapt using waterpump housing or something?

I made a 8ft hydroplane out of ply.
Ive got a seagull silver century with a 11inch prop.
Now I want to fit a higher range gearbox to get a faster/smaller prop.
Any recommendations? It needs to be clutched. 40 plus would work I think.
