Saving Old Seagulls

The problem was material in the carburetor chamber - after cleaning it out, the motor runs well - thanks for all the suggestions.

The carburetor is the Amal two jet - offset float chamber bottom feed.

Intermittently, fuel keeps flowing continuously out of the carburetor body.
Is this likely to be a sticking float?
How do I confirm that and what is probably the problem & fix?

Hello, I need an Amal 2 jet carb and throttle cable for following motor:
WSPC 586H2
Silver Century
Seagull - Amal carburetor: All Metal, Starboard side, 23 inch long cable

The "mixing chamber body" of the Amal carb is the part I need if you don't have a fully functional carb.
