I had alot of slop in my 40+
it has very few hours so its not worn out guides at the lock pin.
so I machined bushings that fit the pin better and also fit the U slot in the bracket much better.
took all the slop out of the mount.

Fuel leak
does anyone have a method to fix the shut-off valve on the tank, other than the boiling water method for the cork seal.
replacement seal?
o-rings?
or replace the valve?
and what size is the thread in the bottom of the tank?
its about .015 inch under the standard NPT (usa) size plug.
