Thanks to all.....I have John standing by if Horsley can find one in the shed. I have removed the head and just need the new conrod.....BUT....silly me....I think I marked it correctly but am not sure. I attached two pictures. Is the placement of the conrod a 90 degree from the counter balance? I ...

Thanks to all....I have found a Seagull Silver Century here in Maine. But, it is compatible with the 40+.....as far as the conrod goes? Thanks big time for the help....Ed

Thanks HA and Pat....the conrod broke before freeing it....I should have let it set with the oil for a few days, can't change it though, it broke. I have searched several sites already, no conrod....I did take it to my friend, he too said it shouldn't be welded....suggested a machine shop....either ...

Thanks to both of you for such quick response....I did as you said,....the piston was locked into the cylinder shaft....I sprayed plenty of oils in there. and was working it free, was almost there when 'crack'....the shaft went....attached pic...got her free though....I just contacted a friend who ...
