Thats a very interesting boat in your video. But it looks also much older then our boat. And it has frames, our boat has the cicular tube and its seamed/ crimped.

Hello everybody, I think i have to tell you what happens after the recovery of the engine. It stood in my workshop. I didn`t found a good boat for using the Seagull. Until this summer. We got a "Schottel Schaluppe", a 3,5m log steel rescue boat, build in the 60`s at the river Rhein in germ...

And how you can be sure that there is no sand inside the sensitive areas? I think that masking wiht tape is not very helpful to do prevetion against the sand...
Sandblasting is a fine technique, but after the job it`s overall and inside the things.

Maybe it looks better after a dry ice blasting, if they didn`t sanded it to much...

If i remember, i can measure the old impeller for you... It lays safe and dry in a cabinet, waiting for hard times :wink:
