I phoned the manufacturer, but they don't ship to Canada. NAPA in Canada don't carry it, but I'll send an email to NAPA and Grainger in the US and see if either will ship to Canada.

I recently tried to purchase any amount of SAE 140 oil here in the Vancouver area. All I was able to find was multi-grade which is not much use in a Gull. I contacted the head office of every oil company in the country, only to be told it’s no longer produced.

I've made a reference to this in a couple of messages throughout the last two or three months. During that time I've restored a WSPCL and paid particular attention to the paint.

The paints used are both from Bill Hirsch Auto of New Jersey http://www.hirschauto.com/ and bought from a local supplier ...

Is there a better product than gas to use for tank cleaning? I've always just thrown in a few ounces of gas into the tank installed the cap and given it a good shaking (tank off the engine of course).

I've uploaded photos to Yahoo of my latest restoration a 1973 WSPCL.

I realize some may not approve of minor changes I've made - a black flywheel - I don't like hammerhead paint; and the polished carburetor; it was good enough on my BSAs and Triumphs years ago at show and shines .

I'm ashamed to admit that the seller (crayford kent) lives only a couple of miles from the house I left fifty years ago. Surely not all of us living in the south were that mad!!!
