Saving Old Seagulls

sorry Charles am in Wigan Lancs

got three seagull engines one in bits but all there tc68140 two in bad condition ws1736f0 and ws1456k9 £30 must take all

wanted 40 plus with clutch in original condition ,needed for early july distance no prob thanks

thames sounds good will have to get rebuild finished though,it would be good to meet other mad men.

is anything in pipeline for a flocking this year and if so what is required apart from boat and seagull

really grateful for advice picked 3 very old ring spanners at car boot sale 50p and they fit all nuts on engines so now the fun starts thanks everyone

hello charlesp i live near wigan in lancs,bought set of whitworth spanners but they wont fit, help ,

any one please please help really struggling to find the right sizes, tried AF wont fit, need to get going on strip down and rebuild.can't find BSF spanners anywhere not sure about WHITWORTH

anyone inform me about spanner sizes please,are bsf, whitworth and af the same sizes needed for my seagull engines .i am a bit confused thanks

so there is no hope for me now then i am even thinking of keeping car on drive so i can get large workbench in garage.Very gratefull for replies nice to know i am not alone in my madness.

i bought a 102 off ebay as first seagull, one to work on over winter and now i have another one, WS1736F0 were does it end

just received engine, and first impression is WHAT HAVE I DONE i know nothing at all about them but i must admit it looks good, the only number i can find is TC68140 hope that makes sense to anyone will have a good look in morning

thanks for replies my location is wigan in lancs and would like a seagull 4 or 5 hp or less if you knowledgeable persons advise that less is better, i would like a older rather than newer model to keep me busy during winters

there are plenty on ebay for sale but as a newbie how do i pick a reasonable one, i need one for a 10ft dinghy any advice gratefully received THANKS
