I believe your 90 model has electronic ignition, so it seems likely it is either a faulty ignition module, or possibly the plug lead if you're lucky! you may be able to find an electronic ignition on Ebay. Weak mixture/wrong carb. or needle, incorrect fuel /oil mix - do you measure it out? Should be 10:1 - new unleaded fuel and 2 stroke oil not multigrade - preferably outboard 2 stroke but any 2 stroke would get it running OK if nothing else is wrong. Bought a 170 at the weekend, and I've been trying to get it running. Can't find an engine number (should it be in the same place as earlier Seagulls?).
