Re: I want one of these...
With the load trying to unscrew the nut, looks like a good way to get a mouthful of spinning flywheel.

Re: Car boot buy.
A trick we used on bearings rotating in their housing was to centre punch in several places around the inside of the
housing. Each pop mark you make causes the outside of the dimple to swell giving the bearing a tighter fit. I should explain
that this treatment was used on electric motors not on ...

Starting seagulls in dinghys
My little 40 featherweight won't start in the dinghy when I'm alone but starts fine in a tank. This
forum has put forward the notion that it is because the engine is too deep blocking the exhaust
relief holes. I am quite happy with that but is it possible to buy or make something to lift the engine ...

Choke opening time
Hi
I have read in the FAQ's that the choke only needs to be on for a few seconds. My engine seems to need
about 10 minutes before it will give full revs without choke. Does this mean my mixture is incorrect?, if so,
what can I do about it.
Grateful for any help you can give.
Regards
George

Re: idling???
I'm a newbie here with no real knowledge of engines. I stop my featherweight by putting my
hand over the air intake. Am I doing something wrong, or is it ok to do that?
