What would the approximate weight of this engine be?
I presume it'd be a long shaft?

As some of you are aware i've just bought a forty minus short shaft.
It says on the engine identifier that the ration of 2 stroke oil to petrol is 10:1.
Now i know what John has put is right.
But that does seem like a hell of a lot of oil?!
My next question is, it has a standard tank on it, how much ...

Ok, an HT lead or a spark plug cap, i can imagine are fairly simple things to fit & source i presume?
Could you enlighten me, as i'm pretty crap with engines, as to why & what's wrong with the current one?

I'm after ordering some oil from John on this site, how do i go about doing so?
Do i just have to email him?

I spoke to the chap who was selling it, he said it had'nt run for about 8 months & he'd given it to his grandad to start, i asked him if i could see it working in a tank & sounded a bit baffled as to why he could'nt just start it dry.
That kind of put me off & the fact it was also a Long shaft was ...
