Re: Photos of my newest Seagull!!

I got her running today after work, by cleaning the carb and flushing out the tank, and it started on the 1st pull!! She pumps water like a fire engine and runs like a champ!! I also did a compression test, and she has 130 psi, the same as my 1968 FP and my 1969 F. I'll post more pics of it after I ...

The stand didn't come with it, it is my 1950's Evinrude factory showroom stand.

Photos of my newest Seagull!!

Got this today, along with 2 other Evinrudes!

She is a 59-60 SJP 2-3 hp, and didn't have spark when I got her, but I cleaned up the points and now she has great spark!!
I need to go over the fuel system as it smells varnishy, but she should run, and she is a nice clean FRESH WATER motor!!

Filler cap needed

I am in search of a filler cap for the fuel tank of my 1969 Featherweight that I got yesterday. I am located in the northeast US and would prefer something local.

Another Gull!!

In addition to my 68 FP and the 59-60 SJP I'm getting soon, I picked this 1969 Featherweight up today at an Antique Outboard Motor Club swap meet today for 80 USD. I never cleaned the points, but cleaned the tank, carb, and fuel line and she fired right up and she runs great!

She has 130 psi ...

Re: Your Boat & Motor Pictures

2003 Sylvan 12' aluminum semi vee hull and 1968 Seagull 40+

I use this boat to test all of my vintage motors, and it will do 25 mph with my 1956 Johnson 15 hp, and I might take it out Saturday with my Seagull.

40+ Running in Test Tank

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDRgOTtHTe0 Here's my 68 40+ I got before Christmas that I did some work to and now it runs great. I didn't have any 10:1 so I ran it on 16:1, but when I run it on a boat, I'll use 10:1.
