Pressure is mounting from the wife to remove this engine from its centrally heated place of residence for the past years under my desk and sell it.
Engine originally bought from Dockerell in Tiverton liquidation sale in 1994??

Further Update
Hi all
The Kingfisher 6 was one that Dockerell Yachts put on their Dockerell 27 yacht. Does this explain the oddity numbers and colours?
Dockerell went bankrupt in the mid-nineties and all went to auction.
Any one interested make me a sensible offer

Thanks to Charles for the pics - I joined Photobucket and had a go - they're a bit big though.
Was stored in original cardboard box (now been thrown out!!) until recently.
Charles Uk - I wish ! No unfortunately but something may turn up one day!
Extra memory for the computer and new system CDs ...

Engine no. KLR 831
Original - Longshaft - with Short Shaft conversion that has not been fitted.
Brand new - has NEVER been started.
One of the last they made and must surely be the last in the country to have not been started.
Hoses are slightly perished - as you would expect.
No alternator ...
