Wondering what this out board is? Its advertised on Buy swap & sell Yorkepeninsular on facebook. Its advertised as a 1934,5HP for $400, collector value $700???

Here in Australia local price of LPG $1.15 liter, petrol $1.65 & the price difference is closing. As you use more gas than petrol, its hardly worth it. I run a dual fuel vehicle & theres very little difference in running it on petrol or gas.

I could see fuel containing Ethanol in it causing some problems with icing. Had similar problems with a car with carby & fuel with Ethanol in it.

One problem is its a taperseal plug, where a D16 uses a flat surface & washer.

Valvoline market TRA-140 gear oil for truck gearboxes. I did have to buy 20 liter drum though.

On these diesels the pump should be put back with the same shims that were there before removal.

Boot release cable from an early Mazda/Ford from the wreckers. Very good cable iner steel cable has a nylon lining.

This is the stuff, Use it on D shackles on Moorings in Sea water & you can always undo them years later. And use it on outboards. You can get smaller containers, as this size has taken nearly 30Yrs to use. Only just opened this one.

I use a grease called Neversieze, use it on all of my outboards & they are used in sea water.

Un beliveable Inspector. Today I got to it & freed up the throttle slide that was stuck flat out. Checked the spark & it was a nice fat blue spark, filled the fuel tank choked the motor & 1st pull & it goes. It runs well & idles quite smoothly, does sound like a lawn mower though...
